Survey suggests that both urban and rural Chinese are optimistic about their future while living environment and healthcare remains key areas of concern
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) released a report called “A Better Life? Confidence and Consumption Among Chinese’s Consumers,” a report commissioned by Bayer, which aims to gauge Chinese consumer confidence -- both urban and rural – and identify consumption priorities that are assumed to be highly connected in driving consumer spending. The survey findings revealed that across the sample groups, consumers are overwhelmingly optimistic about their future but remain concerned about their living environment and healthcare. » more
